The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Service Consultant - Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB) for Application Maintenance and Support of on prem and cloud based environments.
In this role, you’ll:
Collaborate with clients and internal team to deliver transformative Oracle Retail solutions.
Communicate with clients by providing on-call support as needed, during business and non-business hours
Support and troubleshoot production client environments (Cloud and on Prem env)
Take ownership of or assist with the logging, reporting, and resolution of application issues in Jira.
Ensure development standards are met in all coding practices
Build and test application enhancements and modifications
Ensures adherence to OLR and customers quality standards, policies, processes and procedures.
Individual contributor and collaboration with team members.
Assist in the mentoring and coaching of more junior members of the team
Document knowledge articles for internal cross-training
Additional duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Science.
2 to 4 yearsof experience in Oracle Retail, systems integration, consulting, or managed services.
Essential experience with Oracle Retail modules, specifically the Retail Integration Bus (RIB) or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) in cloud environments. Familiarity with additional modules is a plus.
Experience in a production environment is required, including the management of incidents, problems, and change requests.
The candidate must have strong SQL and PL/SQL skills and the ability to debug packages, functions, and procedures. Basic UNIX/Linux command skills are necessary, and shell scripting capabilities are an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent client-facing communication, effective teamwork, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role.
