Job description
The Role
The Technical Consultant - Oracle Retail (ORPAS) assist in the support of production application software. This includes assisting with troubleshooting issues, customizing existing software code, writing new software code, testing and debugging modifications, and ensuring appropriate documentation is generated for software code wherever necessary for OLR.
In this role, you’ll:
Providing Support and Implementing business processes in Oracle RPAS SAAS solution
Working with product and architecture team to build world class IT solutions supporting the merchandising processes of the Project.
Demonstrate subject matter expert for certain functions/processes/tools
Delivering and ensuring functionality of the developed solutions
Collaboration across multiple environment and interactions with peers and customers across different geographies.
Business analysis
Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organization.
Assists in defining acceptance tests for these recommendations.

Experience & Qualifications:
Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for small- scale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives.
Follows agreed standards, applying appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements.
Prioritize requirements and documents traceability to source.
Review requirements for errors and omissions.
Investigate, manage and apply authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
Knowledge on all Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server solutions.
Technical expertise in Unix, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting.
Knowledge of integrations between source-RPAS-destinations, also "RETL" program
Experience in Advanced JAVA, RPAS SAAS, Unix, Shell Scripting. Well aware of HTTP and SSL and setting up OBIEE connection with SSL.
BTech/BE in Computer Science, or related field
2+ years of experience in a relevant area
Understanding of different cultures
Participated in projects with people from other functions/markets
Proficient spoken and written command of English
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to the Cloud application and setup
Oracle Retail RMS
Batch monitoring applications like Appworx, Automic, or POM
