## Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with retail business stakeholders to understand merchandising and planning processes, and translate them into Oracle RMS and AIP functional solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Configure Oracle RMS modules to support core retail operations — purchasing, inventory management, pricing, and promotions — ensuring business rules are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Design functional setups in Retail AIP and Item Planning to enable accurate forecasting, assortment planning, and inventory optimization in support of data-driven decision-making.
- Document detailed functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and reports, enabling development and testing teams to implement secure, robust solutions.
- Coordinate with technical teams to validate that interfaces, data flows, and batch jobs across Oracle RMS, AIP, and other retail applications operate reliably and meet performance expectations.
- Perform functional testing and system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing, to confirm new features and configurations work as intended without disrupting existing processes.
- Investigate production issues raised by users, analyze root causes within Oracle RMS and related planning modules, and propose timely resolutions that minimize business impact.
- Provide functional guidance to operations teams through process documentation and functional walkthroughs that promote consistent, efficient system usage across retail functions.
- Analyze operational metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and standardization within the Oracle Retail ecosystem.
- Plan and execute minor configuration changes and release activities in line with change-management procedures, ensuring stable deployments in a hybrid environment.
- Support data validation and reconciliation during cutovers, migrations, and large data updates to protect data quality across merchandising and planning domains.
- Engage with quality and risk functions to ensure functional designs and configurations comply with internal controls, audit needs, and regulatory expectations in the retail sector.
- Enable retail clients to optimize inventory, reduce waste, and improve product availability — contributing to more sustainable and efficient supply chains.

## Qualifications

- 8–12 years in retail domain projects, designing and refining Oracle Retail (RMS) processes that fit complex business landscapes.
- Deep functional expertise in Oracle RMS — including item management, purchasing, allocation, replenishment, and inventory processes supporting end-to-end retail operations.
- Hands-on experience with Retail AIP, configuring forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment workflows that improve inventory turns and on-shelf availability.
- Knowledge of Retail Item Planning capabilities supporting assortment planning, item lifecycle management, and financial alignment for seasonal and core assortments.
- Solid understanding of retail merchandising concepts — purchase orders, transfers, pricing, and promotions — ensuring system behavior aligns with store and online operations.
- Practical experience in hybrid work models, using collaboration tools and structured communication to work effectively with distributed teams and client stakeholders.
