The IT Technical Analyst – Blue Yonder WMS is responsible for driving functional excellence across warehouse operations by configuring BY WMS capabilities, supporting day‑to‑day system needs, and ensuring process alignment with business requirements. This role acts as the bridge between operations, IT development teams, and business stakeholders to deliver stable, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with warehouse operations to understand process needs and translate them into BY WMS functional requirements.
Perform system configuration (locations, picking strategies, rules, work templates, allocation methods, user roles).
Conduct root-cause analysis for production issues and collaborate with technical teams for permanent fixes.
Support SIT/UAT testing , validate end-to-end flows, and ensure data accuracy across integrated systems.
Maintain functional documentation , workflow diagrams, SOPs, and configuration logs.
Develop and optimize MOCA scripts, DDA screens, integrator interfaces , and SQL queries for performance and stability.
Maintain documentation including technical designs, data flows, integration maps, test cases , and deployment standards.
Manage enhancement requests, prioritize functional backlog, and coordinate deployment with project teams.
Monitor system integrations and coordinate with ERP/TMS specialists for data alignment.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, change management processes, and audit/regulatory expectations.
Qualifications
Strong functional knowledge of warehouse operations and BY WMS modules (Receiving, Inventory, Picking, Shipping).
5-7 years of hands-on experience supporting and developing Blue Yonder/JDA/RedPrairie WMS for at least 2 major Greenfield or Brownfield roll outs
Ability to interpret MOCA logs and troubleshoot functional issues.
Experience with SQL queries for data validation.
Excellent communication skills to interface with cross‑functional teams and business users.
