Role description
Oracle Retail Engineer to lead the designs and development for Oracle SaaS Cloud upgrade V19 and above.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements and map business process in ReSA, RMS and ReIM applications
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Retail v19 or above (SaaS), including SaaS deployment and upgrade
strategies
• Experience in Oracle Retail SaaS implementations, including migration from on-prem to cloud.
• Knowledge of REST API integrations and microservices architecture for Oracle Retail.
• Expertise in performance tuning for SaaS environments, including batch optimization and database
query tuning.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Retail deployments in cloud environments.
Skills
Technical Skills Required:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Retail applications especially in ReSA, RMS and ReIM
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on development experience using PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX for custom UI
development
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in an Agile environment, leading teams, practices lean
principles and promoting faster time to market
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with cloud technologies with exposure with any of major
cloud provider like Oracle, AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift, Pivotal
• ReSA and RMS v16 or above is preferred. Should have in-depth support knowledge on Stock Ledger,
Inventory Management
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience working in Agile environments is highly preferred
• Functional knowledge on Oracle MOM is preferred
