Job description
We are seeking a high-caliber Oracle ERP Technical Project/Program Manager to lead multiple complex global projects and drive end-to-end delivery for Oracle EBS and Cloud Fusion initiatives (Implementations, Rollouts, Transformations, and Managed Services/AMS).
Key Qualifications:
1. Total Experience: 15+ years of experience in the IT services sector.
2. Oracle Leadership: 7+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Oracle EBS and Cloud Fusion projects with a vast global footprint.
3. Domain Expertise: Proven track record delivering Oracle solutions within the Supply Chain / Manufacturing and Finance industry verticals.
4. Team & Project Scaling: Demonstrated experience concurrently managing multiple parallel projects and leading teams of 25–30 members (onshore/offshore).
5. AMS & Transition Expertise: 5+ years of experience leading complex Application Maintenance Services (AMS), including transition management (Shadow to Primary support), steady-state operations, and contract closures.
6. Certifications: Oracle Functional / Technical, PMP/Prince2 certification is highly preferred. Agile/Scrum, Oracle Cloud Project Management are a strong plus.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Multi-Project & Program/Delivery Management:
a. Parallel Governance: Scope, plan, and technically manage multiple concurrent projects including greenfield implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support operations.
b. Manufacturing & Finance Delivery: Leverage industry knowledge to guide the delivery of specialized Oracle Supply Chain/Manufacturing and Financial modules.
c. AMS Strategy & Transition: Design and execute comprehensive transition frameworks, manage knowledge transfer (KT) phases, and mitigate risks moving from deployment to support.
d. SLA & Performance Tracking: Monitor system uptime, oversee daily support activities, ensure strict SLA compliance, and establish ticket prioritization frameworks using ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
2. Financial & Business Acumen :
a. P&L & Budget Management: Own project financial health, monitor budgets, manage resource utilization across your 25–30 member team, and approve scope changes to maximize profitability.
b. Value Creation: Identify opportunities for system enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement to drive value for the client and add-on revenue for the organization.
3. Stakeholder & Customer Relationship Management:
a. Strategic Advisory: Act as the primary technical point of contact for client leadership, aligning Oracle capabilities with their business transformation goals.
b. Communication: Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly steering committee reviews. Proactively manage client expectations and escalations.
4. Technical Guidance & Problem Solving:
a. Cross-Module Oversight: Guide technical and functional teams in resolving complex, cross-modular issues intersecting ERP, SCM, HCM, and EPM Tech stacks.
b. Risk & Infrastructure Management: Identify, log, and mitigate critical technical risks, infrastructure bottlenecks, and data integration issues.
5. People Leadership & Talent Development:
a. Team Mentorship: Coach, mentor, and upskill a global team of 25–30 technical and functional Oracle consultants.
b. Practice Building: Actively participate in recruitment, performance evaluations, and capability building to align the Pune/Hyderabad/Bangalore/Indore hub with modern Oracle Cloud trends.
6. Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with Oracle EBS (R12) and Oracle Cloud Fusion architecture, data models, and integration tools (SOA/OIC/FBDI/ADFdi) etc. Methodologies: Oracle Unified Method (OUM), AIM, Waterfall, and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
